POVLOG FAQ (1.3.0, Aug 2026)

Account — No signup needed. Change your nickname in Settings (shown to friends in ROOM/Album). Deleting your account cascade-deletes clips, films, and cutouts; it can't be undone.

Filming & MY VLOG — 5s per clip, up to 12 a day, deadline 24:00. MY VLOG is ready at 8:00 next morning; it's rendered mostly on your device, so open the app after 8:00 to see progress (the server finishes it if you don't open the app for a while). Captions can be edited later from the clip list. Dual can be turned off at the top right of the camera. Free digests pick clips from morning/noon/evening/night automatically; Keep includes every clip.

Friends' clips are locked — They appear after you post at your chosen pace (daily / weekly / monthly — film once in that day/week/month to unlock). Pro sees them without posting. Change the pace in Settings.

ROOM — Anyone can create/join for free; invite by QR, link, or friend list from the ROOM tab. No member cap. "Friend filmed" notifications: first clip of the day only, 7:00–21:00, at most one per hour.

OUR VLOG — Last week with your ROOM friends, delivered every Monday 8:00 as one film per person; a living collage of cut-out subjects opens into each moment. Not made for ROOMs where you didn't film last week (a ROOM with only you still gets one). Cutouts are made on your device after filming; clips without a cutout (no subject found, unsupported device, Android before the first model download) appear as thumbnail tiles and are added gradually each time you open Home. Turn off "Use my clips in OUR VLOG" per ROOM to stay out of friends' films; clips hidden from friends are never used.

REPLAY / Album / passes — Camera-roll videos in REPLAY stay on your device and are never uploaded. Free reaches 14 days; Pro reaches everything. A friend's album beyond 14 days needs a pass from them (Free: 1 pass, Pro: unlimited; revoke anytime).

Storage — Nothing expires by days. Free keeps up to 5 GB; past that, the oldest material is cleared first when you film (count shown on Home). Pro has no cap. Save favorites to your camera roll from Album.

Plans — Free: 15s digests with watermark, 14-day REPLAY/Album, 5 GB, 1 pass, no ads. Credit (one-off): 1 credit = one film full-length and watermark-free (Keep). Pro (monthly): 5 credits/month, full history, see friends' clips without posting, no storage cap, unlimited passes, map stamp, caption styling, scene re-generation. Prices in-app. Free digests can be upgraded later via Keep. Billing goes through the App Store / Google Play; cancel from the store's subscription settings.

Save & share — Save to camera roll from Album; also kept in the cloud. Share to TikTok / Reels / Shorts / LINE.

Notifications & widget — Toggle in device settings (keep on for the 8:00 deliveries). Widget: long-press the home screen → add POVLOG (iOS "+", Android Widgets).

Privacy & safety — Clips are shared only with your ROOM friends; albums only with friends you film with. Report via the in-app report or Contact; child-safety issues are handled first.

Devices & support — iOS and Android. If the app misbehaves, restart it; otherwise reach us via the Contact page.
