How to use | POVLOG

1. Getting started — No signup. Open the app and shoot right away. Set a nickname anytime in Settings (shown to friends in ROOM and Album). On first launch, pick how often you film (daily / sometimes / weekly) — it decides when friends' clips unlock (see 4); change it anytime in Settings.

2. Record — Camera tab → tap the shutter to record 5s (no long-press). Up to 12 clips a day. Add a one-line caption right after filming (or skip). Dual (front + back at once) is on by default; turn it off at the top right. A faint "ghost" of your last clip helps you match framing. Deadline is 24:00. Allow camera & mic.

3. MY VLOG (8:00 next morning) — Your day becomes one film automatically: 12-panel opening grid, date/time, soft music. It's rendered mostly on your device; open the app after 8:00 and the "making" card shows progress. Free = 15s digest with watermark. Tap Keep to make it full-length and watermark-free with 1 credit or Pro.

4. Home & DAYLINE — Today's clips in time order, plus a 4-slot time bar (morning/noon/evening/night × 3). Switch ROOM with the chip next to the logo. Friends' clips appear after you post at your chosen pace (daily / weekly / monthly); Pro sees them without posting. Heart a friend's clip to add it to your MY VLOG.

5. ROOM — A small group of friends who share clips. Free for anyone. ROOM tab: invite by QR, link, or friend list; rename; leave. Get notified when a ROOM friend films their first clip of the day (7:00–21:00, max one per hour). Turn off "Use my clips in OUR VLOG" to keep your clips out of friends' OUR VLOG.

6. OUR VLOG (Mondays 8:00) — Last week with your ROOM friends arrives every Monday at 8:00 as one film per person. A living collage of cut-out subjects opens one by one into the real moment; cutouts are made on your device after filming. Your film starts and ends with your clips; no film for ROOMs where you didn't film last week. Free = 4-piece digest with watermark; Keep makes it full with 1 credit or Pro. Find it on the ROOM card and at the end of each Album week.

7. REPLAY — Scrub back through your clips on a single timeline. It starts at a random spot and plays on by itself; drag the line (right = past) or roll the dice. "Add camera-roll videos" mixes your device videos into the line — they stay on your device and are never uploaded or used in MY VLOG. Free reaches back 14 days of POVLOG clips; Pro reaches everything.

8. Album & passes — Your page: filmed days laid out week by week. Friends you film with can see it. Older than 14 days is only for friends you hand a pass to (Free: 1 pass, Pro: unlimited; Pro sees your own full history). Open, save, and share any MY VLOG here.

9. Home screen widget — iOS/Android widget shows today's clip count and this day in the past; tap to open the film.

10. 24H RELAY — Start with your 5s and pass the baton by QR/link. Friends can join from a browser. It closes after 24 hours and becomes one film.

11. Storage — Clips and MY VLOG don't expire by days. Free keeps up to 5 GB; beyond that, the oldest material is cleared first each time you film (the count shows on Home). Pro has no cap. Save your favorites to the camera roll from Album.

12. Plans — Free: 15s digests with watermark, 14-day REPLAY/Album, 5 GB, 1 pass, no ads. Credit: 1 credit = one film full-length & watermark-free (one-off). Pro (monthly): 5 credits/month, full history, see friends' clips without posting, no storage cap, unlimited passes, map stamp, caption styling, scene re-generation. See in-app for prices.

13. Notifications — MY VLOG / OUR VLOG ready (8:00), friend filmed, ROOM joins. Toggle in device settings.

14. Delete account — Anytime in Settings; server data (clips, films, cutouts) is cascade-deleted (irreversible).
