POVLOG How to use

This is a reference translation. The Japanese version is authoritative; if any discrepancy exists, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Getting started — No signup. Open the app and shoot right away. Set a nickname anytime in Settings (shown to others in group projects).

2. Record — Tap the shutter to auto-record 5s (no long-press); a ring shows the time left. Each clip is 5s, up to 12 (60s total). Clips line up by time; add/remove anytime. Allow camera & mic.

3. Make a video — Tap "Make today's video"; the AI stitches your clips into a raw, heartfelt short (usually 30s–a few minutes). You'll get a push when it's ready.

4. Films (looks) — Switch films to change the whole mood (e.g., Showa 80, VHS Night). All films are free on every plan.

5. Save & share — Save to your camera roll and share to TikTok / Reels / Shorts / LINE.

6. Plans — Free: 1/day, 15s output, watermark. Single: one-off purchase — that one video full-length & watermark-free. Pro: monthly, up to 5/mo, full-length (no watermark, high quality), scene re-generation, and caption styling. You can shoot up to 60s on any plan and upgrade a Free video to full on the spot.

7. Groups (co-create) — Anyone can create and join for free (share an invite URL/QR); each person shoots on their own device. When the owner generates, everyone's clips merge into one video all can view/save. Secret mode hides others' clips until it's made — a develop-style surprise.

8. Relay (pass the baton) — Everyone shoots one frame (5s) at a time and passes the baton via QR/link (anyone joins free, even on the web). The baton lasts about 1 hour, then returns to the owner. Binding it into a film uses 1 credit (full video). Each frame shows its author in order, with a "FILMED BY" credit at the end; Secret mode hides them.

9. Map (location) — Turn on location while filming and a map of where you shot is burned into the bottom-left of clips (Pro; on full, watermark-free videos). Toggle it per clip in the clip list. Needs location permission.

10. Credits (🪙) & referrals — Credits make full scenes (1 credit = 1 full video). Invite friends or redeem a shared code (coupon) for perks. See in-app for details.

11. Notifications — Push for render done, group join/extend, and referral milestones. Toggle in device settings.

12. Delete account — Delete anytime in Settings; your server data is cascade-deleted (irreversible).
