Account & sign-in
Q. Do I need to sign in? A. Normal use requires signing in with Apple or Google. However, only when joining via a friend's QR code or link, you can participate in editing as a guest without signing in.
Q. Can I create an account after joining as a guest? A. Yes. Sign in later with Apple/Google and your prior participation carries over to the same account. After signing in, you can also add photos.
Q. Can I change my display name or icon? A. Yes, anytime from Settings.
Q. Can I recover a deleted account? A. No. Once deleted, the account and related data cannot be restored.
Shooting & grid
Q. How many photos fit in one grid? A. Up to 16. The grid lays out automatically by count (2, 3, 4, 9, 16).
Q. Can I change the photo order? A. Yes, drag the cells to reorder.
Q. Can I use photos from my camera roll? A. Yes—besides shooting on the spot, you can import from your camera roll.
Friends & collaboration
Q. How do I invite friends? A. Send a QR code or invite link from the album's share button.
Q. Is there a limit on participants? A. No. Albums and participants are unlimited.
Q. Can guests add photos? A. No. QR/Web guests can only edit (doodle); adding photos requires signing in.
Doodles & AI
Q. Can I erase others' doodles? A. No. You can only undo strokes you added—this protects everyone's work.
Q. Are doodles reflected in real time? A. Yes, participants' doodles sync in real time.
Q. What is AI doodle? A. A feature where AI draws illustrations or decorations to match your photo (for Premium). The target photo is sent to a generative-AI service.
Q. Where can I see remaining AI credits? A. In Settings you can check this month's remaining credits. Credits reset monthly and do not carry over.
Plans & billing
Q. What can I do for free? A. Shooting, the grid, collaborative editing, QR join, and export are all free. Doodling offers pen (5 colors) and text.
Q. What does Premium add? A. All doodle tools, AI doodles (with monthly credits), full-resolution save/high-res export, and unlimited re-editing of old albums.
Q. How do cancellation and refunds work? A. Manage cancellation/refunds from your app store's (App Store / Google Play) subscription management.
Saving, export & data
Q. Difference between Clean Export and Sticker Export? A. Clean is just the photos; Sticker includes a brand watermark and a join QR code.
Q. I heard photos get deleted. A. On the free tier, original photos of an album with no activity for about 45 days after the last edit may be deleted. Completed/exported images remain. We notify you about 7 days before. Premium keeps them indefinitely.
Notifications, language & other
Q. Can I turn off notifications? A. Yes, turn off picmi notifications in your device settings.
Q. Can I change the language? A. Yes, switch among 7 languages (JA, EN, ZH, KO, ES, PT, ID) in Settings.
Q. The app isn't working—what should I do? A. First try restarting the app. If unresolved, contact us from "Contact" with your device model, OS, and app version.
