Zombie Homestead Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions for using the game app "Zombie Homestead" ("the Service") provided by VAULT LLC (合同会社VAULT; "we"). All users of the Service ("Users") shall use the Service after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

  1. These Terms apply to all relationships between Users and us concerning the use of the Service.
  2. We may change the content of these Terms. Users who continue to use the Service after the revised Terms have been announced in the Service or on this page are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
  3. The handling of personal information and other data in the Service is governed by the separately established "Privacy Policy".

Article 2 (Overview of the Service)

  1. The Service is a game in which you carry resources to build facilities and grow your base while defending it from zombie raids.
  2. The Service includes the "Radio League", in which you compete for scores with other Users, and a feature for inviting friends.
  3. Some features require communication with our servers.

Article 3 (Age and conditions of use)

  1. Users under 18 years of age shall use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian. The same applies to making in-app purchases.
  2. The Service does not require account registration. Game data is stored on the User's device.
  3. If data on the device is lost due to deletion of the app, failure or loss of the device, a change of device, or the like, we cannot restore the data.

Article 4 (In-game currency and in-app purchases)

  1. In the Service, the in-game currency "Gems" and items can be purchased through in-app purchases. Gems can also be obtained by playing the game and as rewards. The content and price of each product are displayed in the app.
  2. In-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the terms of each store apply.
  3. Gems and items can be used only within the Service. They cannot be exchanged for cash or other property, or transferred to other Users.
  4. Purchased Gems and items are non-refundable, except where required by law. Requests to cancel a purchase or for a refund are subject to the rules of the app store you use.
  5. Non-consumable products (such as avatars) can be restored with the same store account using "Restore purchases" in the app. Gems are consumable and therefore cannot be restored.
  6. If the Service ends, any unused Gems and items will expire.

Article 5 (Advertising)

  1. The Service displays rewarded ads that Users choose to watch themselves, and grants in-game bonuses as a reward for watching.
  2. The content of ads is provided by ad delivery providers, and we are not responsible for that content.
  3. Depending on network conditions or ad inventory, ads may not be displayed or bonuses may not be granted.

Article 6 (Radio League)

  1. In the Radio League, the title, name, icon, and avatar set by the User, as well as their scores and play records (ghosts), are shown to other Users in the same group.
  2. Users must not set a name that infringes the rights of others, contains defamatory, discriminatory, or obscene expressions, or contains information that can identify an individual, such as a real name or contact details.
  3. We may delete a name we judge to be inappropriate without prior notice, or exclude the User concerned from the Radio League.
  4. Rankings and rewards are determined based on the records on our servers. If records are not reflected due to communication problems or the like, we do not guarantee rankings or rewards.

Article 7 (Prohibited conduct)

When using the Service, Users must not engage in the following conduct.

  1. Tampering with, analyzing, or modifying the Service's app, data, or communications
  2. Using cheat tools, automation tools, or the like, and intentionally exploiting bugs in the Service
  3. Obtaining scores, rankings, or rewards by fraudulent means
  4. Exchanging, or offering to exchange, Gems, items, or other in-game benefits for cash or other property
  5. Impersonating others, or infringing the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights of others
  6. Harassing, threatening, or defaming others
  7. Interfering with the operation of the Service, or gaining unauthorized access to servers or systems
  8. Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals
  9. Any other conduct that we judge to be inappropriate

Article 8 (Measures in case of violation)

If a User violates these Terms, we may, without prior notice, take measures such as deleting their name, excluding them from the Radio League, revoking rewards, or suspending their use of the Service.

Article 9 (Intellectual property rights)

The intellectual property rights in the Service and in the characters, images, audio, programs, and other materials provided in the Service belong to us or to the legitimate rights holders.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

  1. We do not warrant that the Service is free from defects in fact or in law (including those concerning safety, reliability, accuracy, and fitness for a particular purpose).
  2. We are not responsible for any disputes arising between Users or between a User and a third party.
  3. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damage incurred by Users in connection with the Service. However, this does not apply where our liability cannot be exempted under the Consumer Contract Act or other laws.

Article 11 (Changes to and termination of the Service)

  1. We may change the content of the Service, or suspend or end its provision. If we end the Service, we will announce it in the Service or on this page with a reasonable period of advance notice.
  2. We are liable for any damage incurred by Users due to changes to or the termination of the Service to the extent set out in the preceding Article.

Article 13 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

  1. The interpretation and application of these Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. The Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance for any dispute arising between a User and us in connection with the Service.
