Child Safety Standards

Our commitment

VAULT, LIMITED LIABILITY CO. treats child safety on DUOclip as a top priority and does not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. These standards apply to every part of DUOclip, including videos, audio, images, text, profiles and content made with AI.

Prohibited content and conduct

  • Creating, posting, sharing, storing or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Approaching minors for sexual purposes (grooming)
  • Threatening minors with sexual images or similar material (sextortion)
  • Content that sexualizes minors or depicts them sexually
  • Solicitation or promotion that leads to the sexual exploitation or trafficking of children
  • Any other sexual exploitation or abuse of minors

How we prevent harm

  • DUOclip is for people aged 13 and older.
  • Posted videos, audio and text are reviewed automatically, and clear violations, including sexual content involving minors, are not shown.
  • Videos are shared between friends and the people users invite, and are never published to people who are not signed in.
  • Users can block anyone at any time, and blocked people can no longer see their videos.

How to report

  • In the app: report from the menu on the video or profile and choose the reason "Risk to minors".
  • By email: write to duoclip@vault-tec.jp with information that identifies the user or video.

Do not attach illegal images or videos to your email. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police or local emergency services first.

What we do

  1. We review child safety reports ahead of other reports.
  2. When we confirm content or conduct that constitutes CSAM or CSAE, we immediately stop showing and delete the content and delete the accounts involved.
  3. When we confirm CSAM, we report it to the relevant authorities, such as the police and the Internet Hotline Center Japan, as required by Japanese law and the laws of the regions where DUOclip is offered.
  4. Where required by law, we preserve the information needed for investigations and provide it to the authorities.

Compliance with the law

We comply with Japanese law, including the Act on Regulation and Punishment of Acts Relating to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography and the Protection of Children, and with child safety laws in the countries and regions where DUOclip is offered.
